Henry Loeser is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of media, with extensive experience in teaching, research, and management. Currently, as a Lecturer in Media Entrepreneurship at Bournemouth University, Henry focuses on equipping aspiring media professionals with essential entrepreneurial skills. Additionally, Henry serves as a member of the Board of Experts for the Community Media Forum Europe, advocating for community media policies. With a PhD in sociology from Masaryk University, Henry has developed curricula for broadcast media and teaches courses on broadcast management and community media at the same institution. As the Director of RadioExpert, a civil society organization, Henry supports community media globally through advocacy and training. Previous roles include Research Fellow at the Baltic Film & Media School and various managerial positions in radio stations, including the roles of Manager at Clear Channel Communications and VP of Development at Metromedia International Group, focusing on the development of independent radio in Central and Eastern Europe.
