Jill Derosa

Jill DeRosa has a diverse work experience. Jill started their career as a mathematics teacher at the Marine Science Magnet High School of Southeastern Connecticut in 2013 and held the role until June 2023. Jill then joined the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation as the Assistant Director of Education in July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Bar Manager/Bartender at Mohegan Sun from 2019 to January 2023. From 2011 to 2019, they worked as a bartender at the Big Night Entertainment Group. In 2018, they briefly served as the Head Lacrosse Coach at The Williams School.

Jill DeRosa pursued their education at the University of Connecticut, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education and Teaching between 2008 and 2012. Jill continued their academic journey at the same institution and earned a Master of Arts degree in Education, with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction, from 2012 to 2013. Later on, Jill DeRosa enrolled at Sacred Heart University from 2017 to 2018 to complete a 6th Year program in Educational Leadership and Administration.
