Mary Shirley

Mary Shirley has extensive work experience in compliance and legal roles. Mary currently serves as the Head of Compliance at Masimo, where they lead the global ethics and compliance program for the organization. Mary has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at both George Mason University and Fordham University School of Law. Mary has been a member of the US Compliance Advisory Board at EQS Group. Additionally, Mary has been involved in various compliance roles at Fresenius Medical Care, including Head of Culture of Integrity and Compliance Education and Senior Director of Ethics and Compliance. Mary has also held positions at Streamline Verify, Great Women in Compliance Podcast, The Red Flag Group, Aggreko, and Tata Communications. Mary has experience with developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting investigations, providing training, and drafting policies and guidelines.

Mary Shirley obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from Victoria University of Wellington, studying from 2001 to 2004. Mary also holds additional certifications including the Inclusive and Ethical Leadership Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education (obtained in 2023), the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education (obtained in 2021), and the Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand qualification (obtained in 2006).
