LaToya Ali has held a variety of positions throughout their career. In 2021, they began working at MasonHub as the Manager of Customer Support and Implementation Support Engineering. From 2014-2016, they worked at AVALON DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, LLC (HAWAII) as an Administrative Project Assistant. From 2013-2014, they worked at Aloha Kia as a Business Development Consultant. In 2011, they held two positions, one at Wells Fargo as an Online Customer Service Team Lead and one at First South Mortgage as a Mortgage Consultant. Finally, from 2010-2011, they worked at Howl at the Moon as a Promotions Manager and from 2008-2010, they worked at Sprint as an Executive Escalations Desk Representative II.

LaToya Ali completed their Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Religion from California State University, Chico in 2020. Prior to this, they obtained an Associate of Science in Fashion Merchandising from Johnson & Wales University in 2008. In 2017 and 2018, they attended Learners Guild to study Computer Software Engineering.
