Masonry is the world’s first and largest fraternal organization, and is based on the belief that each man has a responsibility to help make the world a better place. The Masons of California Grand Lodge is the state headquarters for Freemasonry in California.  Headquartered in San Francisco atop historic Nob Hill, we are a nonprofit organization with more than 40,000 members statewide.

The mission of the Masons of California is to foster personal growth and improve the lives of others.  We are a values-driven organization, committed to a culture of leadership, philanthropy, and service.  We provide an engaging and relevant membership experience through a wide variety of member services, including educational programming, leadership development opportunities, charitable initiatives, and supportive services.
