Mass General Brigham
Gregg Furie serves as the Medical Director for Climate and Sustainability at Brigham and Women's Hospital since September 2016, where responsibilities include leading initiatives for environmental sustainability and serving on the Partners Sustainability Steering Committee. Additional roles include Primary Care Physician, preceptor for medical residents, and Assistant Medical Director for Medical Education, where focus is on optimizing the educational experience for students and residents. Gregg is also involved with Mass General Brigham's Climate and Sustainability Leadership Council and holds an instructional position at Harvard Medical School. Prior experience encompasses academic roles at George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences, as well as various fellowships focusing on climate change and public health. Educational credentials include an MD from Harvard Medical School, an MHS from Yale School of Medicine, and a BA in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University.
