Maureen McDonough has a diverse work experience across various industries. Maureen currently holds the role of Chief of Capital Program Support at MBTA since May 2023. Prior to this, they were the Deputy Chief of Contract Services at MBTA from June 2020 to May 2023. From 2018 to 2020, Maureen worked as an A/E/C Industry Consultant at MAM Strategic Advisory Group, LLC, where they provided strategic advisory services related to contracts, negotiations, and dispute resolution. Before that, they served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Suffolk Construction in 2017. Maureen also has experience working at Harvard University, where they held positions as Director of Special Projects, Office of the EVP in 2016 and Senior Director of Administration Strategies from 2006 to 2016. Maureen started their career at the Massachusetts Port Authority as the Assistant Director of the Capital Programs Department from 1995 to 2006.

Maureen McDonough holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Suffolk University Law School. Maureen also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University.
