Damon Cox

Damon Cox is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in economic development, technology, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Head of Next Practice and Inclusive Growth at MassChallenge, Damon has previously held significant roles, including Assistant Secretary for Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Interim President and CEO of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center. With a strong background at The Boston Foundation as Senior Director of Economic Development and Entrepreneurship, as well as experience as Program Designer & Manager for the Boston Small Business Contest, Damon has demonstrated a commitment to fostering innovation and supporting small businesses. Damon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of North Florida, earned between 2005 and 2007.
