Thembi Mazibuko CA(SA) has a comprehensive work experience in finance and accounting. Thembi began their career as a 3rd year Audit Trainee at Deloitte and eventually became an Auditor In Charge. Thembi then joined DHL as a Management Accountant and later became the Finance Manager. Thembi also worked at Kapele Freight Logistics as the Head of Finance and at Barloworld Logistics as a Senior Manager of Finance. Their most recent position is Chief Financial Officer at Masslift Africa. Throughout their career, Thembi has gained experience in various financial responsibilities such as financial reporting, accounts preparation, budgeting, tax compliance, risk management, and team management. Thembi is also skilled in using financial software like Navision and Corefreight. Thembi has a CA(SA) designation and has completed training in Lean, Competition Compliance, B-BBEE Fundamentals, and Change Management.

Thembi Mazibuko completed their Matric Senior Certificate at The Glen High School from 1999 to 2003. Thembi studied Maths, English, Afrikaans, Biology, Accounting, Science, and Speech and drama during this time.

From 2004 to 2007, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting at the University of the Witwatersrand. Thembi then went on to complete a Higher Diploma in Accountancy at the same university from 2004 to 2008.

In 2019, Thembi Mazibuko attended the University of Cape Town for a Certificate in Copy Editing.
