Alberto De Cardenas

Alberto de Cardenas has over 25 years of legal and financial experience, currently serving as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel at MasTec since November 2005. Prior to this role, Alberto held the position of Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Perry Ellis International from January 2003 to October 2005. Alberto began their legal career at Broad and Cassel as a Legal Associate, where Elected to the Partnership took place, from September 1996 to December 2002. Earlier experience includes work as an Accountant at Deloitte & Touche USA, LLP in both the Audit and Tax Departments from September 1990 to July 1993. Alberto's educational background includes a Juris Doctorate in Law from The George Washington University Law School, a Master's degree in Taxation from Florida International University, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida.
