Vishwanath Shetty

Vishwanath Shetty is the current head of human resources at Mastech Digital. Vishwanath has previously worked as the global vice president of human resources at Ness Technologies. At Ness Technologies, they were responsible for all people functions, including recruiting, hiring, retention, training, payroll, benefits, succession planning and other HR activities. Vishwanath also collaborated closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to leverage HR policies and build a high performance organization.

Shetty has extensive experience in transition and change management, having owned all transition and change management activities during ownership changes and acquisitions. Vishwanath has also developed an effective distributed recruitment model to scale the global recruitment function and exceed aggressive hiring targets.

Under Shetty's leadership, the human resource function was elevated to a strategic component for the business with board level influence. Vishwanath also successfully scaled the Professional Services business unit to $15M by implementing effective processes and controls and empowering the teams.

Vishwanath Shetty's educational career includes an Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Bombay, and an MS from the University of Mumbai.

Their manager is Vivek Gupta, President & CEO. They are on a team with Jennifer Ford Lacey - Head, Legal & Admin, Shipra Sharma - Head, Recruiting, IT Staffing & Interim Head of Alliances, and Jack Cronin - CFO.
