Adam M. Sommer

Adam M. Sommer is currently the VP of Security Standards and Compliance at Mastercard. Adam has also previously worked for the PCI Security Standards Council and for RubinBrown LLP as a Senior IT Auditor. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Computer Technician at Best Buy from January 1999 to December 2004.

Adam M. Sommer has a Master of Arts in International Affairs from Washington University in St. Louis, a Master of Business Administration from Maryville University of Saint Louis, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fontbonne University. Adam also has certifications from the University of Oxford in Cyber Futures for Business Leaders, ISACA in CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate (CSXF), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
