Alexander Hughes

Alexander Hughes has over eight years of experience in software engineering, currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Mastercard since April 2021. Prior to that, Alexander held multiple roles at Accenture, including Airship Contributor and Consultant Team Lead, where significant contributions were made to projects involving database schemas and security features. Notable achievements include the development of tools for virus scanning and data discrepancy analysis. Early in the career, Alexander gained foundational experience as a Junior OpenStack Engineer and participated in research as a Research Assistant at Augusta University, focusing on seismological sensor arrays. Alexander holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Augusta University.
