Gustavo Fano

Gustavo Fano brings extensive experience in corporate development and strategic partnerships, having served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Corporate Development at Mastercard from March 2012 to September 2022. Prior roles at Mastercard included Vice President of Corporate Development, M&A, and Venture Investments, as well as Head of Strategic Partnerships & M&A for the Latin America and Caribbean region. Prior to Mastercard, Gustavo worked at American Express from October 2008 to March 2012 in several leadership positions, including Director of Global Network Services for Latin America & Caribbean Partnerships and Country Manager for Caribbean GNS. Gustavo's career began at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico in corporate strategy from August 2002 to June 2006. Gustavo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing from Boston College, obtained in January 2002.
