Julie Horne, CHRL has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Julie most recently served as the Director of Human Resources at Masterfeeds Canada, responsible for all employment-related matters. Prior to that, they held the same position at King's University College, where they were responsible for employee relations, recruitment, policy development, and contract management. Julie also has experience as a Manager of Research Personnel at Lawson Health Research Institute and as an HR Associate at St. Joseph's Health Care. Earlier in their career, they worked as an HR Generalist at McCormick and as an HR Professional at Electro-Motive Canada. Julie possesses a strong understanding of employment standards and legislation and has developed sound HR practices throughout their career.
Julie Horne, CHRL has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Windsor, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. In 1999 to 2001, they also completed a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Fanshawe College. Julie further expanded their expertise in 2005 by obtaining a Certificate in Health & Safety from Fanshawe College. Additionally, Julie Horne obtained a certification as a Certified Human Resources Leader from the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) in November 2006.
