Dana McNamee

Dana McNamee, Ed. D, serves as the Science Department Chair at The Masters School since August 2019, where responsibilities include curriculum development, faculty support, and departmental coordination. Previous roles encompass positions such as Science Department Chair and Teacher at The Stanwich School, where McNamee redesigned K-6 science curricula, and as a Science Specialist at Valley Beth Shalom Day School, focusing on inquiry-based learning. Additional experience includes teaching at Hingham High School, curriculum development for the New England Aquarium, and instruction at Duke University. McNamee holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Administration from Northeastern University and has extensive educational background in Environmental Science and Energy and Environmental Analysis from Boston University.
