Chris Jones

Chris Jones has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Starting in 1997, they were the System Architect for Starseed/Webring, where they designed and implemented the 'Bullet Project' using C/C++ and designed, implemented, and maintained 'Webring' using C and Perl. In 1999, they became the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of VedaLabs. In 2001, they worked as a Programmer Analyst III/Architect for Yamanouchi Consumer, Inc., where they architected a real-time genealogy management system using IBM WebSphere and IBM DB2. From 2004 to 2017, they held various roles at Shaklee Corporation, including VP of Global Infrastructure, Network Security, Computer Operations and Quality Control, and Manager/Director/VP of North America Web and Order Entry. In 2016, they were the EIR at Nexus Louisiana Tech Park, and from 2017 to 2018 they were the CTO of a Stealth Startup. Since 2019, they have been the Chief Technology Officer at MasteryPrep.

Chris Jones attended Louisiana Tech University from 1992 to 1993, where they completed the Early Admission Program. Chris then attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 1993 to 1995, studying Computer Science.
