Natalie Helm

Natalie Helm is an experienced operations geologist currently with Matador Resources Company since May 2023. Previously, Helm served as an account manager at GeoMark Research from May 2022 to April 2023. Helm's academic background includes a master's degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, completed in 2020, and a bachelor's degree in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from Louisiana State University, awarded in 2018. While at the University of Louisiana, Helm conducted significant research on the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale and served as a teaching assistant in sedimentary petrology and structural geology. Additional leadership experience includes serving as president of the Association for Women Geoscientists and being a member of the award-winning Imperial Barrel Award team. Helm began research in sediment dynamics as a student researcher in the LSU Department of Geology & Geophysics.
