Rachel Jurina

Rachel Jurina has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Rachel started their career as a Secretary at the Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education at SIUC in November 2013. In September 2014, they worked as a Marketing Assistant for EVOLVE Apartments at CA Ventures, LLC. Rachel then transitioned to Paddock Publishing Inc. in October 2015, where they held the role of a Sales Representative and Reporter until May 2017. After that, they joined Yelp as an Account Executive in September 2017, where they successfully managed a pipeline of 120 local businesses and achieved monthly sales quotas, bringing in $75,000 worth of revenue. In November 2018, Rachel took on the role of Digital Strategist at Matchbox Design Group, specializing in search engine optimization (SEO) and content strategy. Rachel was later promoted to the position of Lead Content Strategist, contributing to website rebuilds and assisting in both discovery and delivery. Rachel's most recent work experience is with Matchbox Design Group, where they continue to excel in their role.

Rachel Jurina received their Bachelor's of Science in Journalism from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 2017. Prior to that, they attended Streamwood High School from 2009 to 2013.
