Al Nadar

Al Nadar has an extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Starting in 1994, they worked as a Research Officer at BSV Biosciences, Inc. for two years. They then moved on to work as a Research Associate at Mass Bioprocess Center (UMass Lowell Research) from 1996 to 1999.

In 1999, Al Nadar joined Amgen Inc. and held various roles during their tenure. They initially worked as an Associate Scientist, where they developed and validated cell-based bioassays and trained team personnel in conducting bioassays. Later, they became a Laboratory Manager (Senior Associate Scientist) and were responsible for planning, designing, and implementing automation scripts for bio-analytical assays. They also initiated feasibility projects with major Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to assess their capabilities. Lastly, Al Nadar served as a Project Manager, envisioning and leading a team in managing bio-analytical assays using automation systems, providing project management support, and developing strategic goals for the automation team. Their time at Amgen Inc. lasted until 2014.

From 2015, Al Nadar joined AbbVie as a Senior Manager in Lab Operations. They managed a group providing core services to support R&D activities, including cytokine and biomarker assay services and comprehensive compound management activities. Their role at AbbVie is ongoing.

Most recently, in 2022, Al Nadar started working at Matchpoint Therapeutics as a Senior Director of Research Operations. Details about their responsibilities and duration in this role are not provided.

Al Nadar holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Al also holds a Master's degree in Clinical Biochemistry from the University of Mumbai. Al Nadar's undergraduate studies were completed at St. Xavier's College, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Zoology.
