Leah Corrigan

Chief I Clinical Specialist Echocardiography at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital Ltd.

Leah Corrigan has a diverse work background in the field of cardiology. Starting as a Student Placement in Cardiology at Sligo General Hospital in 2014, they later moved on to a similar position at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in 2015. Leah then progressed to Basic Grade Cardiac Physiologist at the same hospital, eventually becoming a Senior Cardiac Physiologist. Currently, Leah holds the position of Chief I Clinical Specialist Echocardiography at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. In addition to their clinical roles, they also briefly served as an Assistant Cardiology Lecturer at Technological University Dublin in 2022.

Leah Corrigan completed their Leaving Certificate at Carrigallen Vocational School before pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Measurement Science at Technological University Dublin, graduating in 2015. Leah later obtained Transthoracic Echocardiography Level 2 Accreditation from the British Society of Echocardiography in 2021. Additionally, they studied Art, Craft, and Design at Cavan Institute of Technology in 2010-2011.
