Sayuri Lum

VP, APAC at Material Bank

Sayuri Lum is the current VP of APAC at Material Bank. Prior to this, they were the Manager of eCommerce & Brand Strategy at Bandai America from March 2021 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for day-to-day eCommerce operations for the Premium Bandai website, communicating with Japan and local cross-functional teams to successfully facilitate product launches, managing budgets and profitability calculations, and making reports and analytics on a weekly basis. Sayuri also conducted research on the products QA process to ensure the safe process of importing and customer satisfaction.

Sayuri is an effective communicator in both English and Japanese, which has allowed their to accurately describe products and manage their pre-sale, sale, and post-sale process. Sayuri has also been able to effectively communicate with licensors for gaining approvals for products in both Japanese and English.

Sayuri has a strong background in project management and utilizes People Soft, SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Office, and GSuite efficiently to collaborate with different teams across different time zones. Additionally, Sayuri has experience managing marketing processes of products on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Google. Sayuri also conducts analysis of marketing campaigns through Google Analytics and sales records.

Sayuri Lum graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Language and Area Studies, specializing in Southeast Asian Studies with a focus on Burmese and Chinese. Sayuri then went on to get their certification from Gainsight in Customer Success.

Sayuri Lum reports to Adam I. Sandow, Chairman & CEO. Sayuri Lum works with Jeff Haack - EVP, Marketing, Sam Hotchkiss - VP, Finance, and Ben Clark - CTO.
