Sergey Tonoyan

Sergey Tonoyan has worked in a variety of roles since 2005. Sergey began their career as Editor-in-Chief of Internet News Block at the Public Television Company of Armenia. In 2007, they worked as a Development Consultant at Zoom Graphics. From 2009-2012 they worked at Sensor LLC, first as Head of Public Relations and then as Public Relations Manager. From 2012-2013 they were Head of Special Projects at eMedia.am. Sergey then moved to Team Telecom Armenia, where they were Public Relations Manager from 2013-2014. From 2014-2016 they were Product Manager at Geno6. Sergey then worked as a Product Consultant at Grōksmith. from 2016-2019. Most recently, they have been Director of Product at Material Exchange since 2019, where they have conducted product-related work of cross-functional teams, developed a long-term product vision, and maintained the Roadmap for Material Exchange product family.

Sergey Tonoyan obtained a Specialist degree in Political Science from the Russian-Armenian State University between 2002 and 2007. In 2017, they received a Mentor Certificate from StartUp Cup Armenia, a Certificate from the Institute national de l’audiovisuel, and in 2023, they obtained an Introduction to Software Product Management certificate from the University of Alberta.
