Derrick Arakaki has extensive experience in customer success and account management, spanning over two decades. Derrick has held various leadership roles at well-known companies such as Material Security, BigPanda, Highspot, SAP, Gigya, Adobe, Omniture, Amazon, and The Cobalt Group. Their expertise includes managing global customer success and renewals, product management, and strategic account management. Derrick began their career in 2000 as a Senior Product Manager at Appliant. Recently, they worked as the Head of Customer Success at Material Security.
Derrick Arakaki completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Washington between 1988 and 1993. Prior to that, they attended Gonzaga University in 1987 and Central Kitsap High School from 1985 to 1987, but did not obtain any degrees or pursue any specific fields of study at these institutions. In July 2015, they obtained a certification in "The Art of the Pitch" from UC Berkeley Center for Executive Education, and in April 2015, they completed an executive education program in "Leading Strategic Growth" with Columbia Business School and Execonline, Inc.
