Steve Zanotti is an accomplished Computer Science educator and advocate for equitable STEM education, currently serving as a Computer Science Master Teacher Fellow with Math for America since July 2018. In addition to this role, Steve holds the position of AP Computer Science instructor at Fairfax Senior High School and has been a Professional Development Affiliate for Code.org since June 2013, where training is provided to enhance K-12 computer science education across Southern California. With extensive experience in various teaching roles at the Los Angeles Unified School District since 1997, including positions at Panorama High School, Barack Obama Global Prep. MS, and Brentwood Science Magnet Elementary, Steve has contributed significantly to computer science programs and initiatives such as Cyberpatriot Team and Girls Who Code Club. Educational credentials include multiple master’s degrees in Educational Technology and Educational Leadership, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a supplemental teaching authorization in Computer Science.
