Alistair McDougall

Alistair McDougall has a diverse work experience that spans over different companies and roles.

Alistair is currently working at Matillion as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Anaplan as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer and a Site Reliability Engineer, where they were responsible for maintaining and developing configuration management, supporting automated tooling for production release, and managing Kubernetes environments.

Before their time at Anaplan, Alistair worked at the University of Leeds as a Scientific Programmer, where they designed and developed an automatic earthquake alert system, developed processing pipelines for large datasets, and created web applications for data visualization.

Alistair also gained experience as an Analyst/Programmer at the University of Oxford, where they managed medical data in SQL databases, developed user interfaces, and created secure Android applications for relaying sensitive data.
