Joe Farrar has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and companies. Joe began their career in 2012 at Virgin Media, where they worked as a Telephony Operations Representative for four years. In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Social Media - Customer Service Advisor and remained in this position until 2020.

In 2020, Joe joined Matillion, where they held several positions over the years. Joe started as a Technical Community Coordinator in January 2020 and worked in this role until March 2021. Joe then transitioned to Product Operations - Communities and continued until October 2022. From July 2021 to October 2022, they served as a Senior Community Moderator. Currently, Joe holds the position of Community Manager at Matillion, starting in October 2022.

Joe Farrar began their education at Newall Green High School, where they attended from 2000 to 2005. Joe did not pursue a specific degree or field of study at this institution. In 2008, Joe went on to enroll at Leeds Beckett University, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Film and Moving Image.
