Kate Johnson

Kate Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Kate is currently working at Matillion as a Product Owner since January 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Test Engineer at Matillion from January 2020 to January 2022. Before joining Matillion, they worked at dunnhumby as a Senior Tester from September 2018 to January 2020. Kate also has experience at Bioxydyn Limited, where they served as a Software Test Lead from May 2014 to September 2018, leading the software testing for Bioxydyn's software MR lung imaging platform. Kate successfully led the company's transition to ISO 9001:2015 certification. Before that, they worked at Vaultex UK as a Test Manager from July 2012 to April 2014 and as a Senior Test Analyst from October 2011 to July 2012. Prior to Vaultex UK, Kate held the role of Senior Quality Assurance and Test Engineer at Convergys from October 1999 to September 2011. Kate also has experience at Intervoice as a Senior Systems Test Engineer from 1999 to 2011. Kate started their career as an Analyst Programmer at RAC Motoring Services from 1997 to 1999. Kate Johnson has a diverse education history. Kate completed their Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Modern Languages (French & German) at the University of Bradford from 1990 to 1994. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Software Engineering at Aberystwyth University, which they completed in 1995. In addition to their formal education, Kate has obtained certifications in the field of technology. In August 2022, they acquired the Matillion Associate Certification from Matillion. Furthermore, in March 2022, they achieved the Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) certification from Scrum.org.
