Robert Cornell has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries.

Robert started their career at Informix as an Account Executive and later moved to Tektronix as an Account Manager.

In 2001, they joined IBM/Informix as a Business Development Manager for Strategic Alliances.

Robert then worked at IBM in various roles, including Global Alliance Manager and Marketing Manager.

In 2006, they became the Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development at Stratavia.

After that, they joined Symantec as a Senior Alliance Manager, and later became the Director of Alliance Marketing, where they led a team responsible for developing and executing the global marketing strategy for the Symantec Strategic Alliance with HP.

In 2011, they worked at Autodesk as a Senior Alliance Manager, and then moved to Automic Software Inc. as the Director of Global Alliances.

Robert joined Talend in 2016 as the Director of Cloud Alliances, and later held positions as the Director of Cloud Partner Strategy and Head of Technology Alliances.

Currently, they are working at Matillion as the Vice President of Cloud and Technology Alliances, where they are responsible for recruiting and building a team of Technology Alliance Managers and Co-Sell Specialists. Robert focuses on establishing joint roadmaps, co-development, and go-to-market partnerships with cloud partners such as AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft, and Google. Robert also drives C-level engagement with cloud-first partners and works with the executive team to drive investment and associated project plans with Snowflake Ventures and Databricks Ventures.

Robert Cornell attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1989 to 1993. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication.
