Santosh Poonen

Santosh Poonen has extensive work experience in the technology industry. In 1994, they started working as a Software Developer at Taligent, Inc. and continued in this role until 1996. Santosh then joined Oracle in 1996 and held various positions including Software Developer, Engineering Manager - QA, Senior Manager - Build & Release Engineering, Senior Manager of Technical Program Management, and finally Director of Technical Program Management. Santosh'stenure at Oracle lasted until August 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director Of Engineering at Matillion, starting from July 2022.

Santosh Poonen obtained a B.S, B.A degree in Computer Science and Music from Calvin University from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1993, they attended Ohio Wesleyan University, where they studied Computer Science and Music but did not obtain a degree. In addition to their formal education, Santosh Poonen has obtained certifications as a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist and Certified SAFe® 5 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2020.
