Anjeleigh Dela Cruz has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2020, they were a Pre-Health Career Corps Student Member at the University of Hawaii, where they attended health and career workshops and volunteered at organization events. During this time, they also participated in research projects.

In 2022, Anjeleigh had various shadowing experiences at different medical clinics in Maui. They shadowed professionals in radiology, oncology, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, internal medicine, and urology. These experiences provided them with a deeper understanding of these medical fields.

Anjeleigh also worked as an Undergraduate Student Microbiology Researcher at the University of Notre Dame in 2022. They were involved in developing procedures for an antibiotic research course. Additionally, they served as a Student First Aid Services Team Member and an Asian First Year Retreat Co-Chair, gaining experience in first aid and event planning.

In 2023, Anjeleigh continued their research work as an Undergraduate Student Cancer Research Assistant in the Li lab at the University of Notre Dame. They focused on studying steroid hormones and their role in prostate cancer.

Anjeleigh also held positions at Matriculate, where they served as both an Advising Fellow and a Head Advising Fellow. These roles involved overseeing recruitment efforts and providing guidance to high achieving and underrepresented students in the college application process.

Overall, Anjeleigh has a strong background in research, healthcare, and mentoring, showcasing their commitment to personal and professional growth in the medical field.

Anjeleigh Dela Cruz earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from the University of Notre Dame between 2021 and 2025. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from St Anthony Jr/Sr High School between 2017 and 2021. In addition to their educational achievements, they also obtained a certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association in October 2022.
