Tim Kitagawa

Tim Kitagawa has extensive experience in the software engineering field, predominantly in leadership roles. Tim is currently the VP of Software Engineering at Matrix Medical Network since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at HealthEquity as the Director of Software Development from August 2008 to October 2022. Tim also held positions at WageWorks, Inc. as the Sr. Director of Product Engineering from September 2018 to June 2020, and at WageWorks as the Director of Development for a brief period in 2008. Before that, Tim worked at AIG Aviation as an Information Officer from 2004 to 2008, and at Canada Life Insurance as the Director of Corporate I.T. from 1986 to 2004. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for various tasks including development, maintenance, production support, and staff management in the software engineering and corporate IT domains.

Tim Kitagawa earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto between 1983 and 1986.
