Randy Hempel

Randy Hempel, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of microbiology and immunology, currently serving as Senior Manager and Operations Manager at Matrix Sciences since January 2018. Prior experience includes a role as Postdoctoral Research Microbiologist at USDA-ARS from October 2013 to January 2016, and as a PhD Candidate Researcher at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from August 2007 to September 2013. Randy began a research career as a Post Baccalaureate Research Associate at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation from June 2006 to August 2007, following an internship as a Research Intern at the University of Idaho in early 2006. Randy earned a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (2007-2013) and a B.S. in Biology from Brigham Young University - Idaho (2003-2006).
