Julius Hughes, MBA, CISSP has a diverse work experience in information technology and management roles. Julius is currently the Vice President of Information Technology at Matrix Service Company, where they are responsible for IT governance, technology strategy development, digital transformation, cybersecurity, cloud computing, finance, data analytics, and emerging technologies. Prior to this, they held the role of IT Director, Applications, Data Analytics, & Change Management at the same company.

Before joining Matrix Service Company, Julius worked at T.D. Williamson as an Application Architect, leading modernization efforts and data migration projects. Julius also served as an Application Support Analyst at the same company.

Julius has experience in financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting from their role as a Senior Business System Analyst at Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group.

Julius started their career at Enterprise Holdings, where they were the Manager of Information Management – Business System Development, responsible for managing business system information for Vanguard Car Rental.

Throughout their career, Julius has demonstrated their ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives, leverage technology to enable business objectives, and drive organizational growth and innovation.

Julius Hughes holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which they obtained from Texas A&M University-Commerce from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Oklahoma State University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.

In terms of additional certifications, Julius obtained a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in December 2022. Julius also holds a Leadership Tulsa Class 63 certification from Leadership Tulsa, which they obtained in January 2021. Julius has a Leadership Development, Foundational certification from Oklahoma State University, which they obtained in February 2020. Furthermore, they earned an IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from Pink Elephant in May 2017.

In 2022, Julius Hughes is currently enrolled at Kellogg Executive Education, pursuing a Certificate of Participation in Leading and Sustaining a Culture of Innovation.
