Daron Abbey

Daron Abbey has extensive work experience in the field of hydrogeology and geosciences. Daron started their career at Frontier Geosciences in 1997, where they worked on environmental and exploration geophysics projects until 1999. Daron then joined Waterloo Hydrogeologic Inc. in 1999 as a Hydrogeologist and worked there until 2005.

In 2005, Daron Abbey joined AquaResource Inc. as a Senior Hydrogeologist and remained in that role until 2011. Daron then moved on to Matrix Solutions Inc. in 2012, where they initially served as a Senior Hydrogeologist and Team Lead. In 2015, they were promoted to the position of Principal Hydrogeologist and Team Lead. More recently, in August 2019, they took on the role of Practice Lead - Geosciences, continuing their work at Matrix Solutions Inc.

Throughout their career, Daron Abbey has gained valuable expertise in hydrogeology and has taken on increasingly senior positions within the organizations they have worked for.

Daron Abbey completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Carleton University in the years 1991 to 1996. Following this, Abbey pursued a Master of Science degree in Earth Sciences with a specialization in Hydrogeology from Simon Fraser University between 1997 and 2000.
