Aeron Buchanan

Aeron Buchanan is a Senior Technology Advisor at Mattereum. Aeron previously served as Executive Vice President at Web 3 Foundation, and before that, they were a Co-Founder at Parity Technologies, where they helped develop Consensus Platform technology. Buchanan has also worked as Head of European Finance and Operations for Ethereum, and they have also served as a Researcher and Regulatory Compliance Expert for the company. Prior to their work in the blockchain industry, Buchanan worked as a Lead Programmer for Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, and as a Computer Vision Consultant for Microsoft Research Cambridge.

Aeron Buchanan has a DPhil from Oxford University in Tracking Non-Rigid Objects in Video, an MEng from St Anne's College, Oxford University in Engineering and Computing Science, and a degree in Advanced Methods in Taxonomy and Biodiversity from Imperial College London.
