Mike Bates

Mike Bates has more than 30 years of work experience in the technology industry. Mike has held various leadership positions at different companies, including ePlus inc., Sunrise Senior Living, and CGI (Formerly American Management Systems). At ePlus inc., Mike served as the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture and previously as the Chief Information Officer, where they were responsible for overseeing the organization's information systems functions and managing the company's technological resources. Mike also established the overall strategy and vision for information systems design and development, systems planning, programming, operations, networking, data warehousing, architecture, data processing, information security, and systems support. Prior to ePlus inc., Mike worked as the Technology Director for Application Architecture & Development at Sunrise Senior Living. Mike also served as the Application Architect & Development Manager at CGI, where they held the role for over 14 years. Mike has a strong background in application architecture, development management, and enterprise architecture.

Mike Bates has a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Business Analysis from Penn State University. Mike also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from George Mason University's Costello College of Business. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Data Analytics Essentials from Cisco, Automation Pro III Certification from Workato, Enterprise Automation I Certification from Workato, Enterprise Automation II Certification from Workato, ArchiMate 3® Practitioner Certification from The Open Group, and TOGAF® 9 Practitioner Certification from The Open Group.
