Damir First

Damir First has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2003 as an Exhibition Tour Guide and Curator Assistant at the Museum of Arts and Crafts. In 2006, they began working as a Student Library Assistant at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb. In 2016, they became the Owner of Inspiration Workshop. In 2017, they joined Loci.io as the Loci Asia Team ICO Fundraising. In 2018, they were the BD Manager at FusionICO and the Current Media ICO Fundraising. In 2019, they became a Game Writer and Narrative Designer at Mechanist Games. Finally, in 2021, they became a Co-founder and CCO at Matterless Studios.

Damir First completed their education history by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Anthropology, Cross-cultural relations, and Consumerism from Xiamen University in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a M.A., M.Ed. in Theirtory of Art and a M.A, M.Ed. in Sociology from University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu between 2001 and 2010. Damir also obtained a B.A. in Japanese Studies from the same university during the same period. In 2010, they obtained a Short Term Study Certificate in Chinese Language from Xiamen University. In 2009, they obtained a Chuo University Short Term Study Certificate in Japanese Language and Culture from Chuo University. Damir First also attended XI Gimnazija between 1997 and 2001. In addition, they obtained certifications in Introduction to Business in Asia, Becoming Human: Anthropology, Freediver, Emergency First Response Provider, Rescue Diver, WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits, Advanced Open Water Diver, HSK 3 (Chinese Proficiency Test), Blockchain FAQs - Answered In 1 Hour, Blockchain Glossary - Learn Blockchain Frequently Used Terms, and Open Water Diver from various institutions.
