Simeon Trieu

Simeon Trieu is a highly experienced professional in the field of imaging technology, currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Matterport since April 2019, after holding the position of Staff Engineer in the same domain. In addition, Simeon leads the Asian & Pacific Islander Employee Resource Group at Matterport. Prior experience includes roles as a Member of Technical Staff at Intevac and as a Senior Image Sensor Engineer at OmniVision Technologies, Inc. Additionally, Simeon has a diverse background that includes research in GaN LED technology and establishing Trieu Solutions as a business owner. Educational qualifications include an MS in Electrical Engineering, an MBA in General Management, and a BS in Computer Engineering, all obtained from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
