Gary Granados Umaña

Gary Granados Umaña is a Quality Engineer at Matthews International since November 2022, focusing on management and quality assurance in ink manufacturing and electronic assembly. Prior experience includes a Junior Engineer role at the Washington Nanofabrication Facility, with expertise in processing, measurement, and quality inspections of silicon wafers for MEMS, utilizing various deposition and etching techniques as well as metrology tools. Earlier positions included Lab Manager at TecnoAnalítica, responsible for chemical analysis of drinking and wastewater, Water Treatment Representative at NCH Corporation, designing treatment programs for heat transfer systems, and an internship as a Process Engineer at FIFCO. Gary gained foundational experience as a Customer Service Agent at SYKES Costa Rica. Educationally, Gary holds a Licenciatura in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Costa Rica, completed in 2023.
