Ileana Cepeda Mph

Ileana Cepeda, MPH, currently serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Children's Mercy Kansas City since January 2024 and holds the position of Workforce Development Coordinator at Mattie Rhodes Center since February 2023. Previous experience includes contracting with the Mid-America Regional Council from June 2019 to August 2023 for KC Degrees and WyCO Works and working as a Research Associate Masters at Children's Mercy Kansas City from March 2021 to February 2023. Ileana's research background began as a Research Associate at the University of Kansas Medical Center, focusing on the JUNTOS Center for Advancing Latino Health, followed by contracting with the American Academy of Family Physicians in the National Research Network. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Newman University, a Master of Public Health from Kansas State University, and current enrollment in the Doctor of Public Health program with a focus on Leadership at the University of Illinois Chicago, set to complete in December 2027.
