George Hanson

George Hanson currently holds the position of EVP and Chief Digital Officer at Mattress Firm since August 2023, while also serving on the Board of Directors at SleepScore Labs and as an AV Expert with Alumni Ventures. With extensive experience in digital commerce and e-commerce leadership, George has previously worked as SVP and Chief Digital Officer at Panera Bread, overseeing $3 billion in digital sales, and VP of North America E-Commerce and Retail at Under Armour. Additionally, George contributed to the National Retail Federation's Digital Council and held various roles at Lands' End, including Interim Managing Director for Japan and project leader for the launch of Lands' End France. George earned an MBA in Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and possesses international experience, having studied at the Goethe Institute in Germany.
