Tim Hartung

Tim Hartung has a diverse work experience. Tim'smost recent role is as a Global Sales Support at Maurten since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Alvernia University from October 2018 to June 2022, first as an Assistant Track And Field/Cross Country Coach and then as the Head Coach of Track & Field/Cross Country. Before their time at Alvernia University, Tim worked as a Registered Nurse at Chesapeake Medical Staffing and Home Care from August 2016 to July 2018. Tim also served as a Graduate Assistant for Cross Country at Goucher College from July 2016 to May 2018, where their responsibilities included recruiting prospective student-athletes and managing training plans and equipment. Tim gained experience as a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Registered Nurse at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center from February 2015 to July 2016 and as an Assistant Cross Country Coach at Lebanon Valley College from July 2015 to November 2015. Tim started their career as a Nurse Extern at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for a 10-week position in 2013, where they gained exposure to nursing practice on a pediatric oncology unit.

Tim Hartung has a diverse educational background and a range of certifications. Tim obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from York College of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Later, Tim pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Athletic Leadership and Administration from Goucher College, attending from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to their degrees, Tim Hartung has obtained several certifications. Tim is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the NSCA, which they obtained in January 2021. Tim also holds certifications in Combined Events Specialist, Endurance Specialist, Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and Throwing Event Specialist from the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association. Moreover, they acquired the USATF Cross Country Specialist certification and a USATF Level 1 Track and Field Coach certification from USA Track & Field.
