Prior to their current role, Annette worked at TidalHealth as a Patient Service Representative, where they provided administrative support and ensured smooth operations within the healthcare setting. Annette also served as a Vaccination Clinic Outpatient Registrar, contributing to the efficiency of the vaccination clinic.

Annette gained experience in the field of sexual violence prevention and support as an Outreach and Social Marketing Intern at the Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence. During their internship, they actively participated in raising awareness and promoting resources for survivors.

Furthermore, Annette had the opportunity to work as a Population Health Intern at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. In this role, they contributed to initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes within the population served by the medical center.

Annette Asare, MPH obtained their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health in 2021-2022. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Community Health and Preventive Medicine from Salisbury University between 2017 and 2020. In addition to their academic achievements, Annette holds a certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, obtained from the American Red Cross in March 2020.
