Hannah Jahnke

Director, Clinical Research at Maven Clinic

Hannah Jahnke, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various research and teaching roles. Hannah currently holds the position of Director, Clinical Research at Maven Clinic, starting in April 2023. Prior to this, they served as Senior Manager, Clinical Research at the same company from January 2022 to March 2023.

Before joining Maven Clinic, Hannah worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The National Institutes of Health from June 2020 to December 2021. Hannah also worked at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they held two research roles. Hannah was a Perinatal Health Researcher from April 2017 to May 2020 and a Maternal and Infant Health Researcher from June 2016 to August 2017.

In addition, Hannah worked as a Population Science Researcher at Carolina Population Center - Training Programs from August 2015 to May 2020. Hannah was a Fulbright-Hays Research Fellow at Fulbright Association from January 2018 to December 2018, leading a research project on the effects of peripartum maternal mental health on infant development on the Galápagos Islands. Hannah also served as a Content Consultant at The Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) Program from June 2018 to August 2018.

Earlier in their career, Hannah worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from August 2014 to April 2016. Hannah also served as a Research Project Coordinator at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine from May 2012 to August 2014, and as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University from January 2011 to December 2011.

Hannah Jahnke, Ph.D. began their education in 2008 at Northwestern University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology in 2012. Hannah went on to pursue advanced studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a Master's degree in Anthropology between 2014 and 2016. Hannah continued their academic journey at the same institution, completing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Anthropology between 2014 and 2020.
