Julia Nguyen

Julia Nguyen has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Julia is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Maven Clinic since April 2023. Previously, they were the Founder of if-me.org, a mental health communication app, from January 2014 onwards. Julia also worked at Shopify as a Staff Software Engineer from June 2022 to February 2023. Julia has also worked at Intuit Mailchimp as a Staff Software Engineer from October 2018 to May 2022, and at Headspace Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer from February 2018 to September 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Indiegogo as a Software Engineer II from June 2016 to February 2018. Julia has experience as an Android Developer at We Read Too from October 2016 to 2017. In addition, they have worked at Expedia, Inc. as a Software Development Engineer I from May 2015 to December 2015, and at Minted as a Software Engineer from August 2014 to December 2014. Julia's career started at ThoughtWorks as an Application Developer from January 2014 to April 2014.

Julia Nguyen has an Honours Bachelor of Computer Science degree with a Co-operative Education and Software Engineering Option from the University of Waterloo. Julia also holds an International Baccelaureate Diploma and a French Diploma from Michael Power St. Joseph High School. Additionally, Julia has a certification in Youth Mental Health First Aid USA from Mental Health First Aid Trainings.
