Megan Hollis, LCSW has extensive work experience in the mental health field. Megan began their career at Youth Residential Services of Virginia (YES Behavioral Health) in 2010 as a Mental Health Technician. Megan then worked at YES Behavioral Health as a Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor and later as a Bilingual Mental Health Counselor in 2011. In the same year, they also started working at Richmond Behavioral Health as an Adult Mental Health Case Manager. Megan held this position until 2016 when they transitioned to the role of CReST Crisis Counselor. Megan continued working in various roles at Richmond Behavioral Health, including Emergency Services Clinician - PRN and CReST Lead Licensed Clinician. Currently, they are serving as the CReST Program Supervisor at Richmond Behavioral Health. In addition to their work at Richmond Behavioral Health, they are also a Mental Health Therapist at Maven Clinic.
Megan Hollis, LCSW, completed their education at Virginia Commonwealth University, where they obtained a Master of Social Work degree in Clinical Social Work in 2015. Prior to that, they attended the University of Virginia and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Spanish in 2010.
In addition to their academic achievements, Megan has obtained various certifications. Megan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, which they obtained in January 2018 from the Virginia Department of Health Professionals. Megan also holds the certification of a Certified Pre-Screener, obtained from Virginia DBHDS in February 2016. Lastly, they are a Qualified Bilingual Staff Level 1, obtained from Kaiser Permanente in May 2014.
