Gérard Dupont

Gérard Dupont, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Gérard is currently working at Mavenoid as the Head of Machine Learning, where they focus on improving troubleshooting bots using NLP techniques. Prior to this, they worked at Siren as a Senior distributed processing software engineer. Gérard also spent several years at Airbus Group Inc. as a Senior AI Scientist, working on various projects related to artificial intelligence. Before that, Gérard worked at Airbus Defence and Space in roles such as Technical Coordinator and Chief Engineer, where they were involved in managing large-scale data processing and information retrieval systems. Gérard also worked as a Research Engineer at LITIS, primarily focusing on information retrieval and search algorithms. Gérard started their career as an R&D technician in electronics at SAFT. Overall, they have a strong background in machine learning, NLP, distributed processing, and information retrieval.

Gérard Dupont, PhD completed their education at Université de Rouen. From 2003 to 2006, they earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Machine learning and a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering. Gérard then pursued a PhD in computer science from 2006 to 2011 at the same institution. In addition to their academic degrees, Dupont obtained several certifications, including "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," and "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization, and Optimization." These certifications were obtained from Coursera in August 2018, May 2018, and April 2018, respectively.
