Montoia Davis

Montoia Davis has a diverse work experience across various industries and roles. Montoia began their career as a Pharmacy Technician at AllCare Pharmacy from July 2011 to August 2015, followed by a role as a Pharmacy Technician at Midtown Medical Center from August 2014 to December 2015. In 2009, they worked at Empire Theatre as an Assistant Stage Manager, where they catalogued props and costumes and redesigned scene changes. Montoia also worked as a Stage Manager and Production Assistant at New End Theatre, where they operated sound and light boards and promoted shows under the Press and Marketing manager.

Moving into the engineering field, Montoia worked as an Environmental Co-Op at WestRock Company from December 2015 to January 2017, conducting environmental checks and testing sludge samples. Montoia then joined MAVERICK Technologies, A Rockwell Automation Company, as a Process Controls Intern from June 2018 to August 2018, where they created I/O Trees and programmed PLCs. Montoia returned to MAVERICK Technologies as an Engineer I from June 2019 to January 2022 and is currently working as an Engineer II since February 2022.

During their time at Auburn University, Montoia served as an Engineering Student from August 2014 to June 2019 and conducted research as a Research Assistant from May 2016 to June 2019. Montoia presented their research on drug delivery polymers at various conferences and symposiums, earning recognition and awards.
