Manuela Pereira has a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, and partnerships. Manuela is currently the Head of Sales & Partnerships at Mavity (Techstars ‘22). In this role, they lead the direct and indirect sales team to meet or exceed sales revenue and profitability objectives while staying within budget. Manuela is also involved in strategic planning, managing people, selling, leveraging technology, and improving processes.
Prior to this role, they were the BeNext Marketing & Partnerships Lead at People Matters Global (2021). Before that, they were the Manager Emerging Sales Channels at Team Foods (2019). Manuela was also a Senior Management Consultant at AF International (2016).
Manuela has also held roles in the retail industry. Manuela was the Senior Buyer at Linio Group (2014), where they designed and executed digital marketing campaigns to help increase sales and the children and babies department share within the company. Manuela also led multiple teams in the Fashion Category of the Kids and Babies Department, and negotiated with sellers of the National Fashion Industry to extend the category’s assortment.
Manuela was also the Category Manager at Falabella (2013), where they supported the fashion and school supplies sales and marketing strategies for the children’s department. Manuela increased school supplies share 20%, by expanding negotiations with both national and international suppliers, leading to the introduction of pioneering products to the schools market. Manuela also enlarged the assortment of fashionable children’s clothing 40% by implementing a better and more efficient codifying-pricing model that permitted the acquisition of new customers.
Manuela’s first professional role was as an Executive Assistant at Ventura Group Colombia (2012). In this role, they increased Sponsor Acquisition of International Port Companies by 50% by assisting to private and government events where Port Experts were looking to invest in profitable Colombian businesses. Manuela also boosted the company’s participation in Ports’ Infrastructure Projects by 20% through bidding for a public contract aimed at the renovation of Buenaventura’s most important Seaport in Colombia.
Manuela Pereira completed a Master's degree in International Marketing from Hult International Business School in 2016, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Government and International Relations from Universidad Externado de Colombia in 2012.
